- Will my line breaks and paragraphs be kept?
- Yes. Existing line breaks are preserved, and long lines are word-wrapped to fit the page width automatically.
- Can I use non-Latin characters?
- The built-in fonts cover Latin (Western European) characters. Characters outside that range — such as CJK or emoji — are replaced with a placeholder, since the standard PDF fonts can't render them.
From plain text to a shareable PDF
A .txt file or a block of pasted text is easy to write but awkward to hand off — Text to PDF wraps it into a tidy, paginated document with consistent margins and typography. Paste directly or load a file, and the tool flows your content across as many pages as it needs.
Layout you control
Choose A4 or US Letter, a sans-serif or monospaced font, and a text size. Monospaced is handy for code, logs, or anything where column alignment matters; sans-serif suits prose. Your existing line breaks are respected and long lines wrap to the page width.
Notes and limits
Generation is fully local, so even a large text file never leaves your browser. The standard PDF fonts are WinAnsi-encoded, so non-Latin scripts and emoji aren't supported and appear as placeholders.
How the pagination actually works
The tool measures your text against the chosen font's real character widths and the page's usable width, then wraps lines and breaks pages exactly where that math says a line or page is full — the same way a word processor lays out text, just without any manual page breaks to fight. Because the layout is calculated rather than approximated, headers, margins, and text size all stay consistent from the first page to the last, however long the document runs.
What this tool is good for
It's a fast way to turn a code snippet, a server log, meeting notes, or a plain-text README into something you can attach to an email or print without opening a full word processor. The monospaced font option keeps columns and indentation from log files or code aligned exactly as written, which a proportional font would distort.
Building it into a bigger document
A text-based cover sheet or changelog converts here and then combines with other PDFs using Merge PDF. For a longer document, add page numbers afterward so pages stay easy to reference, and run Compress PDF if you've embedded a large font.
