Your files never leave your device

This is the most important part. Every HivePDF tool runs entirely inside your browser. The PDFs and images you open are processed locally on your own device using WebAssembly. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party — there is no upload endpoint, no server-side processing, and no storage of your documents anywhere. When you close the tab, nothing about your files remains on any server, because they were never sent to one.

What we do and don't collect

We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal information to use the tools. We do not read, store, or transmit the contents of your files. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard technical request data — such as your IP address and browser type — to serve the site securely.

Analytics and cookies

We use analytics to understand which tools are used and to fix problems — always aggregate usage and error counts, never the contents of your files. Cloudflare Web Analytics runs without cookies and does not track you across sites. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, which use cookies, load only after you accept the cookie banner (Consent Mode v2, denied by default); Clarity masks page content. You can decline, and analytics cookies will not be set. We use Google Tag Manager to load these tools.

Advertising and the Meta Pixel

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure and improve our advertising. Like the analytics cookies above, it loads only after you accept the cookie banner — never by default — and you can decline. It records that you visited a page (a PageView), never the contents of your files. If we add other ad providers later, this policy will be updated and consent requested where required.
