How to Reverse the Page Order of a PDF
Updated July 13, 2026
A stack of pages scanned from the bottom up, or a document that needs to read back-to-front — reversing the entire page order fixes it in one click, without manually dragging pages around.
Steps
- Open Reverse Pages and drop your file.
- Click Reverse pages.
- Download the reversed PDF.
Why this happens
Some scanners and scanning apps feed the last page first by default, especially with automatic document feeders — so what should be page 1 ends up last, and vice versa, across the entire document. Rather than manually reordering every page with a drag-and-drop tool, reversing the whole sequence in one step fixes the common case instantly.
Order only — nothing else changes
This tool touches sequence and nothing else. Each page retains its original content, size, and any rotation it already had; they’re simply placed in the reverse order. If you also need to fix individual page rotation or make more granular reordering changes, that’s a job for Organize PDF instead, which gives you a full visual grid with drag-to-reorder.
Notes
Everything runs on your device — your document never leaves the browser during the process. This also pairs naturally with N-Up when preparing pages for certain booklet-printing layouts that require a specific page sequence.
